How do I join?
We have the club set to automatically accept members. All you need to do is click on the Join our Group button at the top of the window.

How do I submit art to this group?
Find the folder you want to submit to on the left hand side. Open it and click on the button Submit to this folder on the top of the window.

Submission Limit
Since we are a new group, we have an unlimited submission limit for the different categories.

For the featured gallery, there is a 1 time a week limit.

Do you accept mature art
Yes. We require it to be clearly mark, however.

Do you accept fan fiction?
Yes, we accept fan fiction. We require that all fan fiction be correctly labeled, however, with appropriate disclaimers.

Do I have to join you to have my work in the galleries?
Yes. We place work of those who are not in the group in our favorites. If you leave, your work will be removed from the group.

This was the biggest bargain Apollo was ever going for if only it weren't for Eros's arrow striking his heart clueless and lovesick. Lame old cupid, he thought remorsefully for the hundredth time at his overflowing pride to lessen and get washed back like a boomerang around his foolishness to forget that he should've known better not to underestimate minor gods.

Do you even know where you are anymore...?The sunlight is falling down through the leaves of the trees overhead, casting a soft green light over the forest floor, and you wake with a start to find a small brilliant red bird sitting on your chest and trying to shove a worm up you're nose. But since your awake, it quickly flies away, leaving the worm to wriggle about on your chest.
You sat bolt upright, the worm falling off of you as you looked around the area you had been sleeping, or had you been knocked out? You couldn't remember a thing but for some reason you don't really care too much, so, you take this as a chance to start over in, well, to be honest, the place you were in looked like nothing you'd ever seen before.
There was a small grove of trees clustered around a small pond, each tree having straight, slender trunks with silver bark and emerald green leaves that made the sunlight that entered the glade pale green in colour. They water in the pond was crystal clear and you could see the bright red aDo you even know where you are anymore...? by ~gadzooks-thedragon

Sci-Fi Introduction + Lesson 1Sci-Fi Lesson 1: Introduction and World Building

Of all the genres I've worked with, Sci-Fi is one that's really close to my heart. Perhaps it's because I was reared on Sci-Fi, or because my family is the kind to pause a show or movie in the middle of a scene to discuss what ideas are being expressed there underneath the plotline of the story, and what it all means. Drives my brother crazy. 

Sacred-Literature is searching for contributors.ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CONTRIBUTOR?
#Sacred-Literature is a Deviantart group that encourages our members to share the passion that they have for literature with one another.
If you like to welcome people into the group, then this position is for you. You will go onto new members profiles and welcome them to #Sacred-Literature. Also, if there is a critique requested, you will comment on the piece and say what you thought of it and what the member can improve. People skills are needed for this position.
Our goal is to be more than a place where an artist dumps their work. While I know that we will occasionally have such members join us, the majority of our members should be active.
As a contributor, you will not only fill our galleries, you will interact (and possibly make new friends) with members, and expand our group with literature.
General Criteria:

We ask that the majority pieces of the artwork in your gall

At this time, and I know no one does it now, but we do not accept advertisements in our comments on the front page. We rarely hide anything in our group, but we will for this. We feel that this takes away from the friendly atmosphere that we have at #Sacred-Literature.

Welcome New ContributorYes, this is kind of late. I do apologize for that. I'm in the last stretches of editing my original novel, Cold as Ice, so my time is often away from Deviantart and focused on editing. We just adopted a new cat, also. Then, my entire family got sick. So, things have been hetic around my house.
I want to take the time to welcome *MidnaVocaloid01 to one of our admin postions, Contributors. She is a very active member at SL. You may remember reading some of her material in our fan fiction galleries.

Our goal at the #Sacred-Literature is to present the best literature on Deviantart.
We assume you join because you:
1. to see creative literature
2. to encourage others to create creative literature.
3. to share creative literature
The guidelines are not meant to discourage submissions. Rather, they are meant to foster the best of everyone's abilities.
Please, review our guidelines, so your art will not be removed from our gallery.
Though we welcome submissions from all members, no matter skill level, we want to set standardize guidelines for both visual and literal art.
1. The number one rule is that the #Sacred-Literature will only accept FAN or ORIGINAL literature created work fully done by you.
2. While we accept mature artwork, we expect your mature filters to be on.
3. Remember, that we accept your fan fiction. Please check our fan fiction section for information regarding literature based upon others' created universes.

Co-FoundersA Co-founder is usually someone who has been given full admin privileged for the group based on how hardworking and trustworthy they are. They are the right hand man of the founder.
The Co-Founder at #Sacred-Literature is a prestigious position. We do not hand out the position, and the person (people) in this position possess a fortitude to help with our group.
I have several expectations for my co-founders. They make day-to-day activity in SL flow better, and they take some pressure off of myself.
Our Co-Founders should not be in more than two additional group's founding, co-founding, or contributors positions. The reason for this is that this position requires a heavy presence in the group from a member.
However, they should be familiar with how an admin works in a deviantart group. While we won't exclude any applicants from this position, someone who has no experience as a group admin MUST be willing to learn.

ContibutorsA Contributor is someone who has offered to be an especially active member on the group. They do not have as many privileged as a Co-founder; however, they do have access to some group tools that other members do not.
Each are carefully chosen when they submit an application for the position. Any who apply for the position must met all of the expectations.

We have several expectations for Contributors. They make day-to-day activity in SL flow better.
A contributor needs to be active on Deviantart. They need to be on the website at least a couple of times during the week.
Also, they need to be active within the group. If they are not, they will be demoted from this position.
If a contributor does not fulfill the expectations outline in this position, they will be demoted to member.
Our Contributors can submit three of their best work to the featured gallery. This means that their artwork will have more exposure on the front page of the group.
